Delicious Twix Cookies combining cookie dough, caramel, and milk chocolate for a delightful treat.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 large Egg Yolk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/4 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 16 ounces Caramel Dip (may have extra)
- 3/4 cup Milk Chocolate
- 1 cup Twix Candy Bars (chopped)
Instructions
- Cream together softened butter and sugar for about 4 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix for 1 more minute until fully combined.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt until no dry flour remains.
- Shape dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out chilled dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 to 1/3 inch thick and cut out circles.
- Place cookie circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 8-9 minutes until slightly golden on the edges.
- Cool cookies on a wire rack.
- Spread a thick layer of caramel dip on each cookie.
- Melt milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and spread over the caramel layer on each cookie.
- Refrigerate cookies for about 10 minutes to harden the chocolate before serving.
Notes
For best results, ensure butter is softened, not melted. Don’t overmix the dough to keep cookies tender.
