- 1 1/3 cups Brown Sugar (tightly packed)
- 2 large Egg Yolks (yolks only)
- 1/3 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 12 ounces Milk or Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter at 50 percent power or in a pot over medium-low heat until it’s fully melted.
- Stir in the brown sugar and mix until it dissolves, then let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, and egg yolks to the bowl, mixing until creamy and combined.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until no dry flour remains.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the dough balls on a lined baking sheet for 11-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
Notes
Make sure your butter is melted but not hot. For extra chewiness, chill the dough.
