Description

Soft, warm, and bursting with chocolate flavor, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies are perfect for any occasion and easy for beginners.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 1/3 cups Brown Sugar (tightly packed)
  • 2 large Egg Yolks (yolks only)
  • 1/3 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 12 ounces Milk or Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter at 50 percent power or in a pot over medium-low heat until it’s fully melted.
  2. Stir in the brown sugar and mix until it dissolves, then let it cool for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, and egg yolks to the bowl, mixing until creamy and combined.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until no dry flour remains.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the dough balls on a lined baking sheet for 11-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.

Notes

Make sure your butter is melted but not hot. For extra chewiness, chill the dough.
